Hi, I'm Johan Eriksson, a passionate Swedish designer and animator currently based in Brooklyn. As a Senior Animator at the renowned global creative company BUCK in New York, I lead projects and have garnered recognition for my award-winning work. My imaginative vision for modern animation, coupled with technical expertise, allows me to bring compelling narratives, dynamic design, and meticulous attention to detail to every project.
In my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with major clients, including Google, Netflix, Spotify, Microsoft, Nike, Cartoon Network, Meta, Figma, Verizon, Chase, NBA, Twitter, McDonald’s, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and many more. The diversity of these collaborations has enriched my creative journey and allowed me to continuously push my boundaries.
My love for characters and commitment to bold and playful art infuse a childlike whimsy into my work, and I believe in maintaining a balance between dedication to innovation and the joy and wonder that initially inspired me. In addition to my role at BUCK, I've had the privilege of sharing my expertise by teaching at the prestigious creative business school, Hyper Island, and contributing to the educational initiatives at School of Motion.
